The Committee on Transport and Communications discussed ways of overcoming crisis in the transport sphere, and insurance of the sphere’s development

The meeting was attended by people’s deputies, the Minister of Infrastructure, representatives of central executive authorities, and the Ministry of Infrastructure.

The Committee granted a hearing to the Minister of Infrastructure regarding strategic tasks of the ministry for overcoming crisis in the transport sphere, and insurance of the sphere’s development.   

In the course of discussion, people’s deputies stressed its important to reform railroad industry.  

The Committee members discussed the issue on reorganizing the State Inspection of Ukraine on land transport security and improvement of its work.

A discussion on reforming the sphere of public road system of Ukraine was initiated. The Committee’s Chair B.Kolesnikov stressed the necessity of targeted use of funds that come from financing sources of the public road system.
