The Committee on Social Policy and Labour recommends that the Verkhovna Rada should adopt as a basis and in entirety the draft law on amendments to the laws “On the Fundamentals of Social Protection of Homeless Persons and Street Children” and “On Population Employment” (re refugee status)

The bill (Reg. No. 4574) suggests abolish a fee for issuing licenses for the use of foreign labour and labour of stateless persons for persons in regard to whom the decision was taken to process a document in order to settle the issue of granting the status of a refugee, and apply to them the scope of the Law “On the Fundamentals of Social Protection of Homeless Persons and Street Children”   

Committee members upheld the bill adoption of which, they believe, will allow increase social protection of refugees and persons that require additional or temporary protection.
