The Committee on Environmental Policy, Nature Resources Utilization and Elimination of the Consequences of Chornobyl Catastrophe recommends that the Parliament should recommit the bill on amendments to the Law “On Wastes” (re introducing loan rates for returned empties of fluid foods and accelerating introduction of obligatory separate waste collection)

The bill (Reg. No. 3489) suggests amend the existing law regarding development
and introduction of the system of loan rates for returned empties of fluid foods
and establishment of the respective reception centers prior to January 1, 2015.
The bill suggests also introduce mandatory separate waste collection and prohibit
its burial in unprocessed (raw) condition starting from January 1, 2015.
