The bill (Reg. No. 4491) suggests determine that in the course of preparation to military protection of the state or its protection in case of military aggression or military conflict, financing of country’s national defense, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, mobilizational preparation, and mobilizational measures can be carried out additionally at the cost of charitable donations of natural and legal persons in the order, established by the Cabinet of Ministers.
The respective amendments are suggested to be made to the laws “On the Defence of Ukraine”, “On the Armed Forces of Ukraine”, “On Mobilizational Preparation and Mobilization”, “On Humanitarian Aid”, and “On Charitable Activity and Philanthropic Institutions”.
Committee members upheld the bill, adoption of which will allow secure mobilizational readiness, country’s defense capacity, and military efficiency of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to fulfill the constitutional duty of defending Ukraine, protecting its sovereignty, territorial integrity and inviolability.
