The bill (Reg. No. 3498) suggests determine main legal, economic, social and organizational bases of state housing policy as a constituent of Ukraine’s domestic policy.
The draft suggests determine main principles of state housing policy, particularly:
compliance of Constitution with the laws of Ukraine and international agreements;
coordination of aims, priorities, tasks, measures and actions of central and local executive authorities, authorities of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, local self-government authorities, insurance of cooperation between them during forming and implementing state housing policy;
providing subjects of state housing policy with opportunities of access to state financial assistance resources;
publicity of elaborating and implementing state housing policy, use of state and local budget funds, discussion of draft regulatory legal acts on state housing policy, etc.
The document also stipulates basic priorities of state housing policy.
According to the bill, priorities of state housing policy are implemented by including measures into respective programmes of socio-economic development.
The Committee members upheld the bill.
