The Committee on Science and Education considered the issue of functioning and financing of educational establishments and scientific institutions on the occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol

Representatives of the Ministry of Science and Education and other central bodies of executive power, Ministry of Finance, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Ukrainian Center for External Independent Assessment and higher educational establishments that have subordinated structural subdivisions located on the territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, participated in the Committee’s meeting.

In view of settlement of a rage of issues that arose in the sphere of science and education in connection with occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the Committee recommends the Cabinet of Ministers to take several measures aimed at:

settlement of the issue of transfer of students of higher educational establishments of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol to higher educational establishments located in other regions of Ukraine;

determine admission conditions for applicants, permanently residing on the territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea to higher educational establishments located in other regions of Ukraine, etc.
