Such decision was made during the Committee’s meeting.
As Chair of the subcommittee on youth policy, family and childhood Mykola Zhuk stressed, on the territory of Crimea and Sevastopol city, first of all at the International children’s centre “Artek”, a considerable number of orphans, children deprived of parental care, children with disabilities, and other categories of children requiring state’s assistance were receiving health improvement.
It was also mentioned that there are 122 camps on the territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea where 59 thousand children improved their health in 2013.
With consideration of the abovementioned, people’s deputies claim that the executive authorities have to immediately create conditions for relaxation of children in 2014 on other territories.
The Committee also drew the government’s attention to the necessity of fulfilling requirements of the Verkhovna Rada Resolution “On Recommendations of the parliamentary hearings on the issues health improvement and relaxation of children and the youth” dd. 05.11. 2013.
