The legislative act regulates service in the military reserve of the Armed Forces and other military units. In particular, service in the military reserve is recognized as a special type of fulfilling military duty. The law establishes legal status and requirements to serving in military reserve.
The law applies rights, duties and restrictions stipulated by legislation for military men to reservists for the whole period of their service in military reserve; obliges reservists to take Military oath; obliges enterprises, institutions and organizations promote their employees that serve in military reserve in fulfilling their duty of service and secure their timely arrival to bodies of military administration and military units.
The document establishes the order of conscription and arrival of reservists to a military unit.
The following laws amended and supplemented: “On the Armed Forces of Ukraine”, “On the Defence of Ukraine”, “On Mobilization Training and Mobilization” and “On Military Duty and Military Service”.
