Today the Parliament has to approve the Law of Ukraine “On approval of the Decree of the President of Ukraine “On partial mobilization”. Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, acting President of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov said this, opening plenary session of the Parliament.
Oleksandr Turchynov named the present day “an extremely important one, in view of danger of direct military intervention and continuation of aggression in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, which the Russian Federation intends or tries to disguise as a false farce named “referendum”. It will never be recognized neither by Ukraine, nor by the whole civilized world.”
The acting President of Ukraine noted that in view of all the abovementioned, he has signed the Decree “On partial mobilization”, which comes into force after the approval by the Verkhovna Rada. He said that the issue of its approval is suggested to be considered primarily.
Today the Parliament has also to consider the draft laws on amendments to several laws of Ukraine regarding service in the military reserve and on amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2014” that aim at financing primary needs of the Armed Forces and the National Guard, said Oleksandr Turchynov.
