Oleksandr Turchynov: Mobile phone operators will afford an opportunity for the citizens to transfer money to support army

Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, acting President of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov informed that extra-budgetary accounts have been opened in order to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the newly established National Guard.

“People are ready to help the army and the state in every possible way. Tens of thousands of people come to military commissariats as volunteers,” said Oleksandr Turchynov, noting that the country “undergoes a serious test.”

The Chairman of the Parliament informed also that the authority has addressed mobile phone operators who are ready to afford an opportunity for the citizens to transfer money to accounts in order to support army through mobile communication, particularly, with the help of SMS service.

“We work on strengthening the Armed Forces and the National Guard, and I am convinced that jointly we will be capable of withstanding this tough time,” claimed Oleksandr Turchynov.
