In the calendar of centuries-long history of national state forming, an important date – 75th anniversary of proclaiming Carpatho-Ukraine occupies a special place.
This event has become a manifestation of our people’s eternal desire to national independence and sovereignty of Ukrainian territories. Indisputable credit for this goes to leading representatives of intelligentsia, spiritual elite of the Silver Land who, by victorious political, cultural and educational activity, could raise consciousness of Transcarpathia citizens to the level of national needs. Memory of creators of Carpatho-Ukraine – Avgustyn Voloshyn, Yulian Revai, Dmytro Klympush, Mykhailo Kolodzinskyi, Ivan Hryha and many others remains an ever-living source of patriotism, sacrifice, great faith in your powers and future of independent Ukraine.
May today, in difficult times for our sovereign state, feat of Carpathian Sichovyks will be an illustrative example of serving and commitment to native Homeland!
