The Verkhovna Rada adopted the Resolution “On establishment of the Temporary Special Commission of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on elaboration of the bill on amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine”

Under the document, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine resolves:

“1. To establish Temporary Special Commission of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on elaboration of the bill on amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine (hereinafter referred to as Temporary Special Commission).

2. Temporary Special Commission specializes in elaboration of the bill on amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine.

3. Temporary Special Commission shall elaborate and refer for consideration by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine the draft law on amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine in line with the legislative procedure of making amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine, prior to April 15, 2014.

4. To recognize that meetings of the Temporary Special Commission are legitimate, under the condition that half of the people’s deputies of Ukraine from among the composition of the Temporary Special Commission are present at its meetings.

5. To elect the people’s deputy of Ukraine Kniazevych Ruslan Petrovych (faction of the All-Ukrainian Union “Batkivshchyna”) as its Chairman, and Pysarenko Valerii Volodymyrovych as the Deputy Chairman of the Temporary Special Commission.

6. To elect the following people’s deputies as members of the Temporary Special Commission:

Hrynevetskyi Serhii Rafailovych – faction of the Party of Regions;

Dzoz Vitalina Oleksiyivna - faction of the Party of Regions;

Shufrych Nestor Ivanovych - faction of the Party of Regions;

Feldman Oleksandr Borysovych - faction of the Party of Regions;

Pyshnyi Andrii Hryhorovych - faction of the All-Ukrainian Union “Batkivshchyna”;

Teriokhin Serhii Anatoliiovych - faction of the All-Ukrainian Union “Batkivshchyna”;

Yemets Leinid Oleksandrovych - faction of the All-Ukrainian Union “Batkivshchyna”;

Karpuntsov Valerii Vitaliiovych - faction of the Political Party "UDAR”;

Helevei Oleh Ivanovych - faction of the All-Ukrainian Union "Svoboda";

Martyniuk Adam Ivanovych - faction of the Communist Party of Ukraine

Pylypenko Volodymyr Pylypovych - Group "Economic development";

Zarubinskyi Oleh Oleksandrovych - Group "Sovereign Europian Ukraine"

The resolution was adopted with consideration of proposals made in the course of consideration.

The respective draft resolution was registered under No. 4348.
