In the course of conversation, initiated by the Polish Party, the Parties discussed current situation in Ukraine, paying special attention to developments in Crimea.
According to Oleksandr Turchynov, international observers should soon arrive to Crimea.
“We hope for a real estimation of developments on the peninsula by leading countries and a decision of the UN Security Council regarding this situation,” claimed Oleksandr Turchynov.
In his turn, the President of Poland welcomed actions of the government on stabilization of the situation in Ukraine.
“We are ready to continue promoting stabilization of the situation in Ukraine and directly in Crimea,” stressed Bronislaw Komorowski, adding that Poland stands for territorial integrity of Ukraine, its independence and state sovereignty.
Summing up, Oleksandr Turchynov claimed that Ukraine has always felt Poland’s support. “We have always felt your support and we appreciate it greatly,” said the Chairman of the Parliament.
