RESOLUTION
OF THE VERKHOVNA RADA OF UKRAINE
“On the text of the Constitution of Ukraine in the version of June 28, 1996 with changes and supplements, made by the respective laws of Ukraine of December 8, 2004 No. 2222-VI, of February 1, 2011 No. 2952-VI and of September 19, 2013 No. 586-VI”
The Verkhovna Rada resolves:
1. Recognize as valid on the territory of Ukraine provisions of the Constitution of Ukraine, adopted during the fifth session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on June 28, 1996 with changes and supplements, made by the respective laws of Ukraine of December 8, 2004 No. 2222-VI, of February 1, 2011 No. 2952-VI and of September 19, 2013 No. 586-VI.
2. Laws and other regulatory and legal acts are valid in the part that does not contradict the provision of the Constitution of Ukraine, adopted during the fifth session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on June 28, 1996 with changes and supplements, made by the respective laws of Ukraine of December 8, 2004 No. 2222-VI, of February 1, 2011 No. 2952-VI and of September 19, 2013 No. 586-VI, and shall be immediately brought in line with the abovementioned version of the Constitution of Ukraine.
3. The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the seventh convocation, elected on October 28, 2012, exercises powers stipulated by the provisions of the Constitution of Ukraine, adopted during the fifth session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on June 28, 1996 with changes and supplements, made by the respective laws of Ukraine of December 8, 2004 No. 2222-VI, of February 1, 2011 No. 2952-VI and of September 19, 2013 No. 586-VI until the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, elected during the elections on the last Sunday of October 2017 acquires its authority.
4. Coalition of the deputy factions shall be formed in the Verkhovna Rada within one month from the day next to enactment of this Resolution with consideration of the decision of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine No. 11-рп/2010 of April 6, 2010.
5. Publish this Resolution, as well as the text of the Constitution of Ukraine, adopted during the fifth session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on June 28, 1996 with changes and supplements, made by the respective laws of Ukraine of December 8, 2004 No. 2222-VI, of February 1, 2011 No. 2952-VI and of September 19, 2013 No. 586-VI in the Holos Ukrainy newspaper and in the Records of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
6. This Resolution comes into force on the day of is adoption.
7. This Resolution becomes invalid on the day of enactment of the Law of Ukraine “On recovery of certain provisions of the Constitution of Ukraine” of February 21, 2014 No. 742-VII.
