Formation of a new coalition Government of national confidence, able to stop the terrible crisis Ukraine has never seen before, is the main task that the Ukrainian Parliament faces today. Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov stressed this during the briefing after the meeting of the Conciliatory Council on Monday.
“The consequences of activity of the President Yanukovych, ex-Prime Minister Azarov and their inner circle are catastrophic for our state and threaten each citizen,” he noted, stressing that “disbalance of the budget and ruination of economic ties is the result of the rule of the Yanukovych’s regime, which can be stopped neither with club, nor with a pistol. It can be stopped only by professional work.”
Normalization of life in Ukraine, ensuring protection of each citizen, despite the place of residence – in Kyiv, in Lviv or in Donbas is a very serious issue, which is on the agenda, stressed Oleksandr Turchynov.
“The country should realize that formation of a new government is not merely the process of subdivision of posts. This is first of all the way to preserving the state,” he stressed.
Addressing the journalists, Oleksandr Turchynov called on not to overload the situation and not to escalate emotions, since “it is harder to work now, then when Berkut and internal forces stormed Maydan.”
