 The acting President of Ukraine, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov hopes that the majority and the coalition Government will be formed on Tuesday.

Opening the Conciliatory Council meeting on Monday, Oleksandr Turchynov named establishment of the government that the Ukrainian people will trust to “to be the main task that should be fulfilled by the Verkhovna Rada.”

In this context, he informed that consultations between parliamentary factions and groups regarding establishment of a coalition and the Government have begun on Sunday. “I hope a lot that tomorrow we will be able to say something concrete to the Ukrainian people on this matter,” said Oleksandr Turchynov. 

Oleksandr Turchynov has also informed participants of the meeting that representatives of the European countries and the USA recognize the newly established Ukrainian authority, deem it legitimate and are ready to support it in every possible way.
