On the occasion of the Kruty Heroes Remembrance Day
Dear compatriots!
The 29th of January, the Kruty Heroes Remembrance Day, holds a special place in the memorial data calendar. This is the day when addressing the tragic pages of our country’s history, we try to grasp the deep nature of events of the far 1918 and to draw a lesson for the future.
On this day the young elite of the nation - gymnasium pupils, students and military academy cadets stopped invasion of the enemy troops at the expense of their lives. This is an example of a heroic deed and valor in the name of Ukraine and its independence, an exemplar of self-sacrifice and loyalty to the native land.
Commemorating the young heroes who fell near Kruty, we should do our best to establish high political culture in the society, to bring up youth on the principles of patriotism, spirituality and respect to the historic past of Ukrainian people.
