The Committee on Industrial and Investment Policy upholds the draft law “On amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine re development of software products industry and implementation of the national project “Technopolis” – creating the infrastructure of innovative development and high technologies” and its components”

It was mentioned at the Committee meeting that the bill (Reg. No. 2330a) was elaborated in order to “create conditions for accelerated development of intellectually capacious business within the framework of the national project “Technopolis” components, help subjects of software products industry in Ukraine, attract foreign investments, introduce new technologies and a better world’s experience, create new highly-productive work places, etc.”  

Particularly, it is suggested to establish peculiarities of charging and paying a single fee for mandatory state social insurance for scientific and research enterprises – participants of the national project “Technopolis” components, for enterprises – software developers of participants of the national project “Technopolis” components, and for enterprises – subjects of software products industry and their employees, according to a limited list of professions.

The people’s deputies claim that implementation of the draft law’s provisions “will expand the list of priority areas of state assistance for development of software products industry, will improve development of the infrastructure of software products industry, innovational development and high technologies, etc.”
