PLENARY MEETING OF THE THIRD SESSION OF THE VERKHOVNA RADA OF UKRAINE OF THE SEVENTH CONVOCATION ON JANUARY 15, 2014
Before the morning meeting, representatives of the opposition factions blocked the presidium and the tribune.
254 people’s deputies registered to participate in the plenary meeting.
Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak opened the morning meeting from the seat in the session hall.
He announced that on January 9 and 13, 2014 the Central Election Commission registered the people’s deputies, elected during repeated elections of the people’s deputies of Ukraine on December 15, 2013 in single mandate constituencies: constituency No. 197 – Datsenko Leonid Mykolaiovych; constituency No. 223 – Pylypyshyn Viktor Petrovych; constituency No. 94 – Badaiev Ruslan Hennadiiovych; constituency No. 132 – Kruhlov Mykola Petrovych and constituency No. 194 – Poplavskyi Mykhailo Mykhailovych.
Newly elected deputies Leonid Datsenko, Viktor Pylypyshyn, Ruslan Badaiev, Mykola Kruhlov and Mykhailo Poplavskyi took the oath to the Verkhovna Rada.
The Chairman announced a break and invited factions’ leaders for consultations to the office of the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada.
After the break, Volodymyr Rybak addressed the people’s deputies with a request to work today in the committees.
Ha claimed that on Thursday the Verkhovna Rada will consider the draft law on the State Budget of Ukraine for 2014 and asked parliamentarians to participate in the consideration.
Volodymyr Rybak adjourned the morning plenary meeting.
Next plenary meeting of the third session will be held on Thursday, January 16.
