The Committee on Matters of Pensioners, Veterans and Persons with Disabilities recommends that the Parliament should adopt as a basis the draft law on amendments to the Law “On Social Services” (re social guarantees of persons that provide social services)

During the meeting of the Committee that was held on December 18, it was noted that the bill (Reg. No. 2451a) aims to increase remuneration rate of the employees of social services, as well as the prestige of work in this sphere by amending article 11 of the Law “On Social Services” and entitle persons that provide social services to:

receive monthly long service payment in per cent as a supplement to the official salary (rate of pay), depending on the working experience in the institutions of social protection in the following amount: 10 per cent – for more than 3 years; 20 per cent – for more than 10 years; and 30 per cent – for more than 20 years;

annual money reward equal to one official salary (rate of pay) for conscious work and exemplary discharge of duties;

rehabilitation assistance payment in the amount of a monthly official salary (rate of pay) when granting an annual leave;

receive supplementary payment in the amount of 25 per cent of a monthly official salary (rate of pay) for the work in the institutions of social protection, located in rural areas and townships.
