To the personnel and veterans of the Internal Affairs bodies of Ukraine
Dear friends!
I sincerely congratulate you on your professional holiday – the Day of Militia.
Protecting life and health of millions of your fellow citizens, guaranteeing public safety, predominance of peace and tranquility on our streets, prevention of economic crimes – this is not a complete list of your obligations that embellish shoulder straps of the militia personnel.
Your work, vital to the society, sometimes is unnoticed for an average citizen but its social value can not be overestimated. That is why people respect and value your devoted work for the benefit of our state, your everyday readiness to help, sometimes risking health and even your own lives.
I want to express special words of gratitude to veterans-military men. Your heroism and high moral values are a great example to follow for present and future generations of law-enforcement officers.
I wish you all good health, welfare and family comfort. Let the destiny protect you and help you in carrying out your noble mission – serving Ukraine!
