ON TUESDAY, DECEMBER 17, A PLENARY MEETING OF THE THIRD SESSION OF THE VERKHOVNA RADA OF UKRAINE OF THE SEVENTH CONVOCATION WAS HELD.
258 people’s deputies registered to participate in the meeting.
Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak opened the morning meeting in the session hall among people’s deputies in connection with blocking the tribune and the presidium by the opposition factions representatives.
Volodymyr Rybak informed that the bill on the State Budget of Ukraine for 2014 will be considered in the session hall on Thursday, December 19. Before this, according to him, a resolution on consideration of the bill in accordance with a simplified procedure will be adopted.
He addressed the people’s deputies “the Verkhovna Rada is not a club but the highest legislative body. Blocking will do no good for our voters” and he called them to work.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada instructed the Committee on Budget, together with the government, to elaborate the bill on the State Budget of Ukraine for 2014 for consideration in the session hall.
Volodymyr Rybak adjourned the morning meeting.
