To the personnel of local self-government authorities, self-governing territorial communities
Dear friends!
I cordially congratulate you on the Day of Local Self-Government!
Local self-government is one of the most important principles of organization and functioning of the government that naturally combines forms of representative democracy and direct declaration of will of territorial entity’s population.
Present day realia dictate an urgent need of further state structure improvement, optimum result of which should become an opportunity for our citizens to fully and practically influence adoption of decisions that concern issues of their livelihood.
On this holiday special words of gratitude are sent to deputies and personnel of local councils who help settle urgent issues, showing a high level of professionalism, dedication, integrity, compassion and generosity of soul, by their everyday hard work.
I am sure that with mutual efforts we will build a democratic, independent and mighty state, and harmony, as well as prosperity will forever reign in every family and in every community.
