The Verkhovna Rada can consider the issue of Government’s responsibility, however, there are no votes for its resignation. Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak stressed this on Monday in Ottawa, answering journalists’ questions in regard to registration of the resolution on responsibility of the Cabinet of Ministers by representatives of opposition factions.
According to Volodymyr Rybak, on Wednesday, after he returns to Kyiv he will mandate the specialized Committee to examine this issue in line with the special procedure, determined by the law on the Rules of Procedure.
This issue, the Chairman of the Parliament said, “will be prepared and scrutinized.” At the same time, Volodymyr Rybak expressed conviction that there are not enough voices in the Parliament to resign the Cabinet of Ministers. “As of today, I see no voices to resign the Government,” he said.
As informed earlier, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak stays on an official visit in Canada.
