The Committee on Economic Policy recommends that the Parliament should recommit the draft law on amendments to article 4 of the Law ‘On State Registration of Rights to Immovable Property and their Limitations’ (re state registration of the right to use immovable property arising under the lease agreement concluded for less than three years)

The bill (Reg. No. 2701) suggests supplement article 4 of the Law ‘On State Registration of Rights to Immovable Property and their Limitations’ with a new chapter in order to comply provisions of the abovementioned law with article 794 of the Civil Code of Ukraine.

During the discussion, the Committee members stressed the opinions of the Central Scientific Experts Office of the Verkhovna Rada Secretariat. Experts claim that it is more reasonable to amend chapter 2, not supplement chapter 4 of the Law ‘On State Registration of Rights to Immovable Property and their Limitations’ with a new chapter as it was suggested by the bill.
