Members of the Committee on Legislative Support of Law Enforcement met with the delegation of representatives of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The delegation headed by the Chairman of the Committee for Legislation and Judicial-Legal Reform of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Rahmet Mukashev included representatives of the Committee and leaders of the law enforcement bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.     

The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Committee Mykola Palamarchuk, Chairman of the subcommittee Hennadii Vasyliev, members of the Committee Serhii Sas and workers of the Committee’s Secretariat.    

In the course of meeting, the Kazakh colleagues were informed about the latest innovations of Ukraine’s legislation in the sphere of law enforcement, the practice of applying provisions of the new Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, as well as the methodology of work on the new version of the law on prosecutor’s office.   

Representatives of the Kazakh delegation asked to provide them with legal assistance in the form of consultations and exchange of practical experience of applying new Criminal Procedure Code in Ukraine. This, according to them, ‘will be useful during reforming the legislation in law enforcement sphere of the Republic of Kazakhstan.’   

The Committee members expressed their readiness to provide such assistance to the Kazakh parliamentarians.   

Participants of the meeting stressed the necessity of maintaining the dialogue between the Parties.
