The Committee on Science and Education upholds the draft law on amendments to the Budget Code of Ukraine re settlement of separate organizational issues of financial and economic relations in the system of higher education

The bill (Reg. No. 1189) suggests establish special procedure for using their “own revenues” by higher educational establishments by amending the Budget Code of Ukraine.   

In particular, the bill entitles higher educational establishments with the right to put down on deposits and current bank accounts all of their “own revenues” and not to apply requirements of article 43 of the Code to such revenues.

The bill suggests also grant higher educational establishments the possibility to independently manage their own revenues.
