The Committee on Public Health upholds the bill on amendments to article 13 of the Law “On Recreation and Rehabilitation of Children” (re determining age of children that stay at children’s health care and recreation centers jointly with parents)

The Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Koshulynskyi, who is one of the authors of the bill, noted that the document (Reg. No. 3375) suggests increase the age of children allowing them to stay at children’s health care and recreation centers jointly with parents until 7. 

It was noted that under the applicable version of the law, children aged 4-6 can stay in children’s health care and recreation centers jointly with parents or other legal representatives, while children aged 7-18 – independently. 

People’s deputies believe that adoption of the bill will secure rights of children of all age categories to stay in children’s health care and recreation centers.
