In particular, 125th birth anniversary of Mykhailo Drai-Khmara (Reg. No. 3371); 140th birth anniversary of Avhustyn Voloshyn (Reg. No. 3457); 90th birth anniversary of Pavlo Zahrebelnyi (Reg. No. 3483); and 150th birth anniversary of Pavlo Hrabovskyi (Reg. No. 3493).

It was noted that Mykhailo Drai-Khmara was a prominent Ukrainian poet, theorist of literature, academic philologist, and a translator.

Committee members attached attention to the fact that Avhustyn Voloshyn was a political, cultural and religious public figure of Zakarpattia, Prime Minister of the Autonomous Government of the Pidkarpattia Rus (1938) and President of the Carpathian Ukraine (1939).

People’s deputies stressed importance of celebrating the jubilee of Pavlo Hrabovskyi – the Ukrainian poet, translator, participant of the revolutionary movement, as well as the 90th birth anniversary of Pavlo Zahrebelnyi – the Ukrainian writer, Hero of Ukraine, Shevchenko and USSR State Prize winner.

Draft resolutions include several recommendations to governmental bodies regarding organization and holding of commemorative and celebratory events.
