The Committee on Entrepreneurship, Regulatory and Antimonopoly Policy upholds the draft law “On amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine re certifying copies (photocopies) of documents and their extracts, and authenticity of signature on the documents”

The bill (Reg. No. 3077) suggests make amendments to the Labour Code of Ukraine, the Laws “On Export, Import and Return of Cultural Values”, “On state regulation of production and turnover of ethyl, cognac and fruit alcoholic beverages and tobacco products”, as well as several other amendments aimed at simplifying the procedure of finalizing documents issued by state bodies. 

Committee members deem that reduction of the number of notary actions will allow narrow requirements of the existing legislation pertaining to mandatory notarial certification of documents’ copies and help citizens and legal entities avoid complication of the procedure of documents execution, etc.
