The Committee on Taxation and Customs Policy recommends that the Parliament should adopt as a basis the draft law “On amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine re peculiarities of taxation of subjects of software industry and re implementation of the national project “Tekhnopolis – creation of innovative development and high technologies infrastructure” and its components”

The bill (Reg. No. 2063д) aims to establish favorable conditions for the development of local innovation system that would secure full-fledged innovation cycle – from generation of ideas to establishment of commercially successful high-tech product in the following directions: informational and telecommunicational technologies; pharmaceutics and biotechnologies; energy saving and energy efficiency; medicine and pharmaceutics; microelectronics; and aerospace industry. 

Particularly, it is suggested introduce peculiarities of taxation for the participants of Tekhnopolis National Project, who, depending on their scope of activity, correspond to certain criteria outlined in the bill.
