Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Moldova to Ukraine Ion Stevile also participated in the meeting.
The Parties have discussed the issue of European integration of Moldova and Ukraine in the context of the upcoming Vilnius Eastern Partnership Summit. They appreciated significant role the parliaments of both countries play in successful advancement of this process.
Apart from this, the Moldovan Party stressed positive role of Kyiv, now presiding over the OSCE, in searching for the ways to solve the Transnistria problem. The Parties exchanged ideas concerning topical issues of bilateral relations; holding of inner reforms and the experience of Ukraine and Moldova in the work of international organizations.
