The Committee on Environmental Policy, Use of Natural Resources and Chornobyl Aftermath Mitigation suggests refine the draft law on amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine (waste management during transportation)

It was noted that the definition of the notion of “specially equipped transport vehicle” suggested in the bill (Reg. No. 2598a) does not correspond to the fundamentals of the activity of automobile transport, determined by the Law “On Automobile Transport”, and requires refinement in the part of unification of terminology. 

Committee members also attached attention to unreasonably increased responsibility for violation of waste management requirements, since, according to the statistics, there is tendency towards a decrease in the number of such violations.
