The Committee on Industrial and Investment Policy does not uphold the draft law on state regulation in the sphere of detergents

The bill (Reg. No. 2579a) suggests regulate relations in the sphere of detergents. Particularly, it sets restrictions on import of some detergents containing phosphates to the territory of Ukraine and their production, it stipulates informational and educational campaigns on danger associated with the use of such detergents. The bill also determines requirements for labeling and funding, etc.   

During the discussion, the Committee members stressed the opinions of the Central Scientific Experts Office of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariat.

The people’s deputies voiced their remarks to article 7 of the bill “Labeling of detergents”.
