The Committee on Social Policy and Labour recommends that the Verkhovna Rada should adopt as a basis the draft law on amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine in view of adopting the Law “On Population Employment”

The bill (Reg. No. 3114) suggests harmonize legislative acts of Ukraine with the Law “OnPopulation Employment” that came into force on January 1, 2013.  

The bill suggests introduce a new version of chapter three of article 492 of the Labour Code. 

The new version stipulates include article 2449 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements. 

The bill suggests amend the laws “On the basis of the social protection of persons with disabilities”, “On the promotion of social advancement and development of youth in Ukraine”, “On State Service”, “On basic principles of social protection of labour veterans and other elderly citizens in Ukraine”, “On Local State Administrations”, “On Trade Unions, their Rights and Guarantees”, “On state social assistance to low-income families”, “On Social Services”, “On Mandatory State Pension Insurance”, etc.

The Committee members upheld the bill, adoption of which will help create conditions for full-fledged work of the State Employment Service of Ukraine as a central executive authority that implements state policy in the sphere of population employment and labour migration.
