The Committee on Economic Policy recommends that the Parliament should adopt as a basis the draft law “On amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine” (re regulating the content and procedure of using fine sanction and forfeit penalty in the economic sphere)

The bill (Reg. No. 2566-1) suggests make a number of amendments to the Civil and Economic Codes of Ukraine that aim at further refinement of use of forfeit penalty and other fine sanctions in civil and legal relations.

People’s deputies believe that implementation of bill’s provisions will “help reach balance of interests of debtors and creditors and prevent violation of this balance”.
