The Committee on the Rule of Law and Justice recommends that the Parliament should adopt as a basis the draft law on amendments to the Economic Procedure Code (re order of submitting appeal and cassation petitions)

As it was mentioned during the Committee meeting, the bill (Reg. No. 2556) is aimed at improving the norms of the Economic Procedure Code and at ensuring implementation of the participants’ rights of the economic dispute according to provisions of articles 22, 26, 27 of this Code.  

The draft law suggests amend articles 95, 111-1, 113 of the Economic Procedure Code.

People’s deputies mentioned that the refined draft law takes into consideration previously made remarks and proposals of the Central Experts Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariat and the Supreme Economic Court.     

According to the Committee members, it is reasonable to change the title of the bill to “On amendments to the Economic Procedure Court of Ukraine re order of submitting some procedural documents”.
