Organizational meeting of the Ukrainian Part of the Committee on Parliamentary Cooperation between Ukraine and European Union was help in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine

The people’s deputies Petro Poroshenko, Serhii Tihipko, Hryhorii Nemyria, Borys Tarasiuk, Maria Ionova, Maksym Burbak, Oleh Pankevych and Serhii Balandin participated in the event.

 During the meeting, the Co-chairman of the Ukrainian Part of the Committee on Parliamentary Cooperation between Ukraine and European Union P.Poroshenko informed members of the delegation that the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak appointed P.Poroshenko and S.Tihipko as co-chairmen of the Ukrainian Part of the Committee on Parliamentary Cooperation between Ukraine and European Union. P.Poroshenko also stressed the necessity of holding the 20th meeting of the Committee on Parliamentary Cooperation between Ukraine and European Union before the Vilnius Eastern Partnership Summit and suggested hold this meeting on November 20-22, 2013 in Strasbourg. The members of the Ukrainian Part supported this date and place of the meeting.

 H.Nemyria draw attention of the members of the Ukrainian Part of the Committee on Parliamentary Cooperation between Ukraine and European Union to the fact that in May of next year the elections to the European Parliament will take place, he also suggested to efficiently cooperate with the European Parliament in the framework of the Committee on Parliamentary Cooperation between Ukraine and European Union.

B.Tarasiuk shared his experience of work of the Ukrainian Part of the Committee on Parliamentary Cooperation between Ukraine and European Union during the previous convocations and expresses his hopes for dynamic and efficient work of the the Committee on Parliamentary Cooperation between Ukraine and European Union.
