Ihor Aleksieiev met with the the Director of the Department for Continental Europe at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France Eric Fournier and with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of France in Ukraine Alain Remy.
Alain Remy informed about the France’s stand regarding the EU “Eastern partnership” policy implementation, noting that the French Party pays special attention to this.
The First Deputy Chairman of the Committee informed his colleagues on different options for integration aspirations that are being widely discussed in the Ukrainian society and in the Parliament. He stressed that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine continues its hard work on adopting European integration laws.
The Parties also discussed current status and possible prospects of economic cooperation of Ukraine with the European Union and the Customs Union.
