The Committee on Environmental Policy, Use of Natural Resources and Chornobyl Aftermath Mitigation recommends that the Parliament should adopt as a basis the draft law on amendments to several legislative acts in connection with refinement of licensing system in the sphere of economic activity

The bill (Reg. No. 2369a) was elaborated in order to bring the Forest Code of Ukraine in line with the laws “On the list of licensing documents in the sphere of economic activity” and “On amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On licensing system in the sphere of economic activity”.    

The bill suggests amend articles 18, 57, 59, 61, 62, and 69 of the Forest Code and exclude clauses 12, 38, 90 and 98 from the list of licensing documents in the sphere of economic activity, approved by the Law “On the list of licensing documents in the sphere of economic activity”, as non-corresponding to the requirements of the abovementioned law.       

Committee members believe that the suggested amendments will resolve discrepancies and contradictions arising when issuing licensing documents.
