The Committee on Matters of Pensioners, Veterans and Persons with Disabilities recommends that the Parliament should adopt as a basis the draft law on amendments to several laws of Ukraine re additional rights of disabled and children when using railway transport in Ukraine

The bill (Reg. No. 3032) suggests:

introduce priority right for disabled, disabled children and persons traveling with children under 6 to purchase a travel document for low-lying couchettes

obligate railway transport enterprises to secure the possibility to reserve a seat by disabled, disabled children and persons traveling with children under 6 at the level not less than 15 per cent of low-lying couchettes of all categories and types.  

Committee stressed that the legislative initiative aims at refining the position of disabled persons and persons with children under six and, thus, should be upheld.
