The Committee on Finance and Banking recommends that the Parliament should reject the draft law on amendments to the Law “On banks and banking” (re formation of statutory fund)

The bill (Reg. No. 1242) suggests exclude the norm in part 2 of article 7 of the Law “On banks and banking” according to which “The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has the right to form statutory fund of state land bank by financial contributions and contributions in the form of land”.    

It was noted that the Central Scientific Experts Office of the Verkhovna Rada Secretariat has several remarks to the draft law. National bank also does not support the bill.  

The Cabinet of Ministers does not support the bill because it does not comply with the norms of part eight, article 122 of the Land Code of Ukraine.
