The Committee on Matters of Pensioners, Veterans and Persons with Disabilities recommends that the Parliament should adopt as a basis the draft law on amendments to the Law “On the basis of the social protection of persons with disabilities in Ukraine” (re the right to education of children whose parents are disabled persons of group I or II)

The bill (Reg. No. 2273а) aims at stipulating the right of privileged
admission to the higher educational establishments of I-IV levels of
accreditation, and vocational schools, all other conditions being equal,
children from low-income families, whose one parent is a disabled person of group I or II.
