The Committee on Matters of Pensioners, Veterans and Persons with Disabilities recommends that the Parliament should adopt as a basis the draft law on amendments to the Law “On the Basic Principles of Social Protection of Labor Veterans and Other Elderly Citizens in Ukraine” (re full chevaliers of the order “For Merits”)

The bill (Reg. No. 2139a) suggests amend article 8 of the Law “On the Basic Principles of Social Protection of Labor Veterans and Other Elderly Citizens in Ukraine”, having stipulated that full chevaliers of the order “For Merits” also belong to the category of people who have special merits to the Homeland. In connection with this, respective amendments are being made to article 9 of this law. These amendments stipulate privileges for people that have certain merits to the Homeland.
