The Committee on the Rule of Law and Justice recommends that the Parliament should recommit the draft law on amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine regarding the introduction of the mandatory form of legal process in commercial proceedings

The draft law (Reg. No. 2027a) suggests amend the Commercial and Procedural Code and the Law “On Enforcement Proceedings” in connection with the introduction of the mandatory form of legal process.  The draft law also suggests amend article 2, article 1-4 and article 160 of the Commercial and Procedural Code. The draft law suggests supplement the Commercial and Procedural Code with article 90-5.

During the discussion, the Committee members voiced substantial remarks to the bill.  

It was also noted that the Central Scientific Experts Office of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariat, the Supreme Court, the Supreme Economic Court and the Ministry of Justice, having voiced their remarks, claim that the draft law requires recommitment.
