The Committee on Judicial Policy recognized the draft law on amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine re fighting spread of tuberculosis in confinement institutions, as non-contradicting to the provisions of the Constitution of Ukraine

The bill (Reg. No. 3029) was elaborated in order to increase efficiency of fighting spread of tuberculosis in confinement institutions by keeping consumptive convicted, or persons, to whom as a restraint measure detention was chosen or to whom temporary or extradition arrest was applied in separate premise.

In view of the fact that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is the only legislative body in Ukraine, introduction of amendments to the existing legislation suggested by the bill, comply with the provisions of the Constitution of Ukraine.
