The Committee on Environmental Policy, Use of Natural Resources and Chornobyl Aftermath Mitigation does not uphold the draft law on amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine re stimulating use of energy efficient and environmentally friendly lighting

The bill (Reg. No. 2607a) aims to legislatively stimulate and promote gradual refusal from ineffective lightning by creating proper conditions to resolve problematic issues of energy efficient lightning, avoiding heavy expenses on the part of the state; by establishing effective mechanisms for introduction of advanced lighting technology; and by promoting energy efficiency of Ukraine’s economy.  

Parliament members believe that introduction of energy efficient lightning is enough regulated by the applicable legislation.
