STATEMENT of the Press Service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine

Recently, the Komentari web-site published information regarding the alleged use of a separate VIP-wagon by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak on 5 August 2013, near Lutsk station.
The press service refuted the data presented in the publication on the web-site of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (http://rada.gov.ua/en/news/News/News/page/en/news/News/News/80861.html), but, nevertheless, misinformation became publicized in the online space.
Such approach to the news – publication of unverified facts, their biased presentation, and pulling separate details from the greater context - attracts readers with scandalous headlines for a while, but do not add credibility to the media.
Press Service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariat approached to the Chairman of the South-Western railways O.M.Kryvopishyn with the request to provide information on the use of the VIP-wagon on August 5 this year (that should have to be done by the personnel of the Komentari) and received the following reply.

Regarding the information about the traveling
of the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada by the railway
that took place in the media, I inform
Dear Volodymyr Vasyliovych!
From 03.08.2013 to 07.08.2013 the following transportation was carried out Kyiv-Odesa 03.08.2013, Odesa-Lutsk 03.08.2013, Lutsk-Kyiv 04.08.2013, Kyiv-Odesa 05.08.2013 arriving to Kyiv on 07.08.2013.
Given transportation was carried out according to the procedure commissioned by an individual with payment for services rendered. Payment for these services was made thought bank transfer. Payment orders were delivered over the AT "Raiffeisen Bank Aval" in Kyiv on 31.07.2013 with the standing orders:
- №NOQBX60835 as of 31.07.2013 – 9147,16 UAH;
- №NOQBX61146 as of 31.07.2013 – 4462,26 UAH;
- №NOQBX61075 as of 31.07.2013 – 3552,72 UAH;
- №NOQBX61459 as of 31.07.2013 – 30270,24 UAH;
- №NOQBX60960 as of 31.07.2013 – 612,50 UAH;
- №NOQBX61555 as of 31.07.2013 – 588,00 UAH.
The total amount of railroad services rendered was 48 632.88 UAH.
Transportation of the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine during this period was not carried out by the railway.
Also I want to inform that the South-Western Railway, like other railroads, has a service of transportating businesses and individuals in special wagons, including wagons-salons as on the territory of Ukraine and other countries.
This service is in high demand, as evidenced by the presence of pre-orders for all wagons and salons by the end of September.
