The Committee on Public Health to consider more than 70 legislative documents during the third session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the seventh convocation

In particular, the bill on amendments to several legislative acts re protecting population from infectious diseases (Reg. No. 0911) was prepared for the second reading,. The bill aims at improving organization of annual immunization.   

The document, particularly, suggests establishing that immunizations should be carried out according to the calendar of immunization, which is to be annually reviewed by the central executive body that forms and implements public policy in the health sector, taking into account the epidemiological situation in Ukraine and worldwide.

According to the Committee’s schedule, the bill on amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine re informing people on the inclusion of GMO ingredients in food products (Reg. No. 0912) should be considered in the second reading.

A range of bills will be considered on a point of order of preparation for the first reading. It is planned also to conduct visiting meetings, committee’s hearings, conferences, seminars, round table discussions.
