Ruslan Koshulynskyi participated in the opening ceremony of the World Junior Championships in Athletics

On Wednesday, July 10, the Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Koshulynskyi made a working visit to Donetsk Oblast, where he participated in the opening ceremony of the World Junior Championships in Athletics.

Ruslan Koshulynskyi gave an official greeting from the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the occasion of opening the Championship to the President of the International Olympic Committee Serhiy Bubka.  

In his visit to Donetsk, Ruslan Koshulynskyi met also with the management of Donetsk Oblast Council. During the meeting, they discussed current problems topical for the oblast, and perspectives and vision of improvement of local self-government work.

In addition, the Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada visited the JSC «Donetsksteel» — Iron and Steel Works, which employs more than 8000 employees.

Given that the company is located in the center of Donetsk, R.Koshulynskyi discussed with management and employees of the plant issue of environmental protection of the city. Modernization of production and redesigning of working places were also discussed. The management of the plant assured that they do not plan redundancy during modernization. The company will open new enterprises and transfer employees from one production to another.

Ruslan Koshulynskyi also asked questions of a social nature, such as recreation and leisure of workers and sanitation of their children. Acquainted with the work of enterprise and organizations of recreation zones, R.Koshulynskyi highly evaluated social orientation of the enterprise.
